While the equestrian community isn’t always known for its horse sense pun intended) when it comes to shopping, there are some great places that will help you save money & recoup a bit of your fashion investments!

My friend Taylor Hall has started her own business, The Tried Equestrian, where she sells used equestrian clothing, tack & gear online, at horse shows & even (if you are a lucky local like me!) in your home. It’s a two-fold benefit for us, the financially beleaguered parents: One- buy used stuff at a great discount & Two- sell your precious little muffin’s carefully used tack & gear to help offset the cost of keeping it stylish & up to date.
